Born and raised in San Diego, California, I attended San Diego State University for both undergraduate and graduate school. I hold a Dual Master’s of Science Degree in both Exercise Physiology and Nutritional Sciences. I am a Registered Sports Dietitian with extensive experience in various sports and levels, ranging from high school to college to professional.
I’ve supported each Division 1 University in San Diego, namely, University of California San Diego, University of San Diego, and San Diego State University, providing athletes with sports nutrition education and counseling. I contributed to the NFL Combine Training Program at EXOS in Phoenix, and witnessed the product of my efforts with the success of these athletes in the NFL Draft. With this, I also gained experience with both MLB and NFL athletes during their offseason training at EXOS.
I’ve been privileged to work at Banner Sports Medicine High Performance Center in Scottsdale, Arizona working primarily with both high school athletes as they transitioned to D1 Universities and current D1 college athletes. Here I also collaborated with many overseas basketball players and NBA athletes. I am now the Olympic Sports Dietitian at the University of Arizona serving 17 different sports.
As a person, I have been an enthusiastic fan of sports throughout my entire life, thanks to my dad! But growing as a nutrition and exercise professional has given me an even greater appreciation for the talent of elite athletes, and the dedication it takes to rise to the highest levels in sports.
I would be honored to contribute to your development as an athlete, and I welcome the opportunity to share how I would utilize my skills, education, and experience to help you reach your performance goals.
